About the Girl

Hello to all you lovely people! If you are here, then that probably means that you have found my blog and wish to know more about the girl behind it. Allow me to elaborate!

I go by the writerly pseudonym of Miss Woodhouse. I am a girl who loves many many things, and so to make it slightly less complicated, I'll give you a list in neat little bullet points (fancy that Lizzy!), so that you can learn a little bit more about your authoress.

  • I think that Period Dramas are practically perfect in every way. Anything with the beautiful dresses, old fashioned setting, winding dirt roads, horse drawn carriages, heart capturing characters. Give me all of it! They are quite my cup of tea. And speaking of tea...
  • I love tea! And I drink a lot of it. A lot. Like seriously. I might have a problem.
  • Books are heaven sent. Curling up with a good book on a rainy day is a happy thought indeed. Or a sunny day for that matter. Or a snowy day. Or any day!
  • I love Jesus! I hope to always be glorifying to him through my writing, because he is the one who blessed me with the desire to write.
  • Dark Chocolate is one of my one weaknesses. Forever and ever.
  • I am a hopeless romantic at heart. Give me all the ships, and adorable, mushy, fuzzy feels!!
  • I would be an excellent Hobbit. Life in a cozy hobbit hole, tea time, reading a book in the garden, living in the gorgeous shire, being tiny and adorable? Yes please!!!
  • I am a bit of a fangirl. We shall not count all the fandoms. because it would probably take to long to count them all coughcough.
  • Music makes me very happy and I have it on like 90% of the time. Lauv, Niall Horan, Ed Sheeran, and any instrumental soundtracks are just a few examples of what I usually have on 24/7.
  • Although I have never had a book published, I like to dream about it happening someday!
  • I love rainy days! I know many people find them gloomy, but I think they are the most gorgeous thing!
  • I quote books and movies allllllllllllll the time. (in fact, if you've caught all the references I've dropped thus far, then you are indeed a kindred spirit!)

This blog is simply my little corner of the world where I can fangirl ramble about books, movies, life, and everything in between. I am so glad you've stopped by! I think we will get along splendidly!!

  1. Hello Miss Woodhouse! I just found your blog! It is so gorgeous! I love Emma but I have not seen the 2009 version. I do love the 1996 version though! (I need to read the book but I just have so many books I am trying to read right now!) Tea is a love of mine too! Me and my sister try to have a tea time a few times a week to just relax and chat. :)
